CANCÚN AND THE MAYAN RIVIERA
Cancún is a city in Southeastern Mexico, located on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state
of Quintana Roo. It is an important renowned tourist destination in Mexico,[3]as well as being the seat of the municipality
of Benito Juárez. The city is located on the Caribbean Sea, and is one of the easternmost points in Mexico. Cancún is located

LOCATION
Cancún is located northeast of the Yucatan Peninsula, and Mujeres island can be seen clearly along its coast, 7 km away
in the Mujeres Bay area, which is crossed all day long by ships and boats which serve as transportation to and from mainland
for residents and vistors.

Cancún is located on Mexico´s Eastern coast, influenced by warm ocean currents, particularly the Gulf of Meixico Stream,
